Talent + Creativity + YouTube = *bam* 5 million hits

If you have never heard of Kurt (he's cute! haha) and Sam Tsui, these are two most talented YouTube artist. both of them live along the same road since school days, sharing the same interest, and now *kaboom* they have made one of the best MJ medleys acapella i've ever heard. Check this out.

in case you havent noticed, that is Sam Tsui singing on EVERY microphones *gila kuasa, haha*, and Kurt is the one at the most left, doing the beatbox. their idea of doing this acapella came out of the blue, where they suddenly lost a girl singer who was supposed to sing a duet with Sam Tsui. So, came out this random idea of 'hey Sam, you can sing the F notes, why dont you sing both parts!' and with Kurt's expertise in making videos, they recorded the acapella and hence, the 5 million hits video! and plus, they even produce their original online musical series called College Musical. HUUU. such huge talent.

with their good looks *aaaa kurt ailebiu* they have even made it to bonnie hunt's interview. and who's bonnie hunt? i dont know myself. but the point is, they have made it to national television. and this is something BIG!

and that is what you get when passion collaborates with talents, and spiced up with some creativity and definitely a lot of hardwork. applying this concept to our daily-humble lives, well, you dont usually ends up on TV, but with all of these, together with do'a, you'll get it to the top insyaAllah, and most probably, you'll end up reaching the stars, where you have probably least expect it.

Its been a while since he said hi. she have missed all of the 'heyy, how are u doing today', the 'ohh, what a cool picture'. the truth is, she have no right to feel this way. i mean, face it. it was just text messages, which probably doesnt even mean anything. and plus, she even barely knew him. the problem is, he came by, knocked her heart, and she let it open, which was apparently a big mistake! next time, just ring the bell will ya! aha.

the thing is, he was just trying to make friend, and she made a mistake and ends up liking him. and the worst part is, he probably is seeing someone else. *pang* a slap hit her right on the face. REALITY CHECK! he was never hers. so she decided to walk away. slowly.

We stalk their facebook page everyday, waiting for their messages, spending hours talking with them, just to get to know them better. But what did I do to know Allah, The Creator? There are times in life when you feel as you are on the top, above everyone, feeling superior. and at this moment, you tend to forget everything that has helped to get you to the top. your old friends, or even families and worst, forgetting God, The Most Merciful. nauzubillah. this part of life was never somewhat that i am proud to talk about. No. Never. this feeling was unintentional. We never planned to feel this way, but being humans, sometimes this happens.

Until one point, when i look back and reflect this life that i am having. MashaAllah. Too much that He has given. Making everything so easy for me. There was a time when i was feeling so hungry and tired, came a friend offering me nasi lemak. There was another time when i was feeling so tired to get back home from school when suddenly a friend offered to send me back. And there was another time..................and the list goes on and on. Alhamdulillah.

I kept thinking, what qualifies ME to get all of His fortunes? What qualifies ME to have great family and friends? Indeed, Allah is The Most Merciful. But what have I done so far to show my love towards The one and only God, creator and sustainer of the universe?
Ya Allah, ampunilah hamba-Mu yang hina ini.

One year has it been since the last post was published. God. I sometimes do feel like i miss blogging, craving to express all of the mixed emotions and blurt it out to the whole world.

But anyways, its good to be back! well one year is a longggggg time. A lot has happened. and i mean A LOT! well, to start it off, i'm in the UK! Since in UCSI, i've always doubted myself, of whether i am able to pass the Alevels requirements, of whether i am able to even board the plane to the UK. But alhamdulillah, NOW i am able to breathe Cardiff's air! *breathe in, breathe out* huhhhhh

fuhh. well as it is now the second semester, i have to be more serious in studies. plus, JPA just banked ****GBP into my account. sooo i guess i have to fulfill my responsibility as a student. *hoping to revise some handouts afterwards* ecewahh. haha. ehemmm. anyways, just a quick fact, i think my jokes are getting better! no more lame jokes blurted out! pffft, hahaha. good progress huh? *angkat angkat kening* haha :p

hey you guys!!

sorry for the longggggggggggg wait. haha. i kinda miss blogging actually. but i'm just soooo busy being lazy ya noe. hurmmm.... a lot of things have happened since i last posted a blog. well.. to start it off, i just finished my trials and just got my results..my damn 'EXCELLENT' result i should say. with a lot of Cs. I noe i did not prepare myself well but a lot of Cs???????? ape kejadahnye?? Is it me or is the trial paper is just damn hard?but hey! on the bright side, at least i noe that i have to work hard for the finals and will not have overconfidence overpowering me. haih. i dunno. but one thing for sure is that I HAVE TO MOVE MY ASS AND START WORKING ASAP!!!!!!!

ok. let's put the oh-i-need-a-self-check talk aside first and let's talk FUN! last friday, we had this prom aka as they call it starry nite. it was not really a nite full of stars....well technically. but indeed it was filled with shining STARS and hottest celebrities. even the cast of the GOSSIP GIRL were there ya noe.. the cast??? or maybe i should say the-people-who-are-HOPING-to-be-the-cast-of-gossip-girl were there. hahaha. check this out!

and here are some of the red carpet moments:

This pirate of the caribbean: dying man's closet (sequel of the dead man's chest) star, EG is wearing a beaded cream coloured trapped dress (baju kurung) by Versace which matches her scarf with diamond linings by Tiffany and Co. Also, her lovely purple coloured pair of shoes by Jimmy Choo's adds in more colour. and also, we love the matching clutch by Chanel.
This statue-like movie star, YASMIN is wearing a kebaya with a lovely selendang both by Dior. and I love the colour of her dress which really matches her scarf. doesn't it look the same as EG's? huh???? this must be a nightmare for both of them. 2 same scarfs on the same occasion on the same day????? but what the heck. both of them looks good. but EG wears it better. huahua. oh yeah.. if u guys know it, yasmin will be starring in the next steven spielberg movie called "I'm A Statue". it premieres on summer next year.

Also, there is a special appearance by AYLWIN, who played an i-donno-what-is-that-thing-called. he played it real well..and i mean REAL WELL!! and by the end of the event, the Prom queen goes to.....drumrolls...... JIN MAY!!!! my ex housemate!! nak jugak. hahathe prom queen..and her ex housemate!!

To top it off, there was an after-party after the prom. there was an open dance floor and also this special appearance by magic gems (the new paramore but without a girl member) who really rocked the hall bebeh!! we were having lots and lots of fun. I have no further comments upon what we did at the after party.shhhhh. haha. and everybody rocks that night. even hafiz pon menari pelik. oh. beckham lagi pelik dan menakutkan. hahahha. shan? dyelah yg seronok sekali.gelek shan. gelek

this whole week was the most tiring week ever. i'm one of the committee in organising this event.
i helped to look for caterers for the day. everything went just as planned....when suddenly, crisis occur. MAKANAN X CUKUP!!!!.

bcos i'm the one yg tolong2 so.. i couldnt help blaming myself for it. i am so helpless at that moment that i dunno what else to do..that i finally broke into tears...setelah sekian lama. but then..my friends came....

i really learnt something that night. friends are friends.
- they never judge us
- they never leave us behind
- always there to support us in time of crisis or in the time of joy.
- always there to say the right words..encouraging words...eventhough as small as 'u have done ur best' or 'its not ur fault' . it really means a lot to me.

i am really grateful that i have met wonderful people lyk u guys: ILI NADIAH, FATIN, PEJA, KIERA, TIMAH, SYAZ, HASLINA, IZYAN, HUSNA, NABIHAH,NADIYAH, AMY, FADHIL, and the list goes on and on..

woohoo!!!

only after US has received their 45th medals in the beijing olympics that we malaysians FINALLY got the good news of one of our representative will bring back A medal for us. but its ok. they may have tried their best though.

our hero LEE CHONG WEI has defeated lee hyun il of korea with winning 2 sets of the badminton semi final men singles in the olympic beijing last evening. he scored 21-18 on the first set but then lost in the second set by 8 points. in the 3rd set..or i should say the most nervewrecking moments of the game..wong mew choo's boyfriend regained his confidence and rhythm then finally managed to ensure his place in the semi finals with 8 points ahead than hyun-il.

sorry korean folks...i have to belot for a while. i'm fully supporting my malaysia rite now.. the tanah tempat tumpah darahku.

and the best part is...i got to watch them played..LIVE!!.not only knowing the results via on9 tau.

the moment that i know the game was going to be aired on tv..i ran as fast as usain bolt (waloweyh..laju tu) trying to find peja..my rakan setia badminton. huh. it turns out to be that dia tgh tidor. tp a few minutes later she came n watch the game lah. penat kitorg menjerit2 menyokong lee chong wei. antara jeritan sokongan:

-kemon (sebut macam nak sebut pokemon) (ini ayat peja)

this is my 2nd post of the day..like duhhhh!! haha. what a shock! rajinnye eg menulis 2 post! anyway..this post is dedicated to daniel who have been MY blog no 1 fan. *perasaan*

there was this one time. in the class. during lecture. daniel was wearing his hooded jacket. when he wore the hood..he actually looks lyk a gadis bertudung..or i should say..jejaka bertudung. haha

eventhough our lecturer is teaching in front..but against all odds..paul yeoh helped to snap our pics. as i was wearing a black tudung also.. so they said that daniel looked like me!!!

so..today..after taking advice from daniel the so-called twins..i decided to write this post.

and here it goes...

last friday, the SALSA committee (which is an a level commitee) organized a game of captainball and dodgeball. ha? ape die? captainball tuh ape bende?

ok. captainball is basically kind of like netball. tapi instead of scoring by shooting the ball inside the net..we have to shoot the ball to our keeper. so the keeper here is basically the net lah. the team with most points win.

our captainball team:

and our team is called DA BOMB.

and we played against 3 groups. n guess what? we won all three!!!! hebat kan! hah. so this week is semi finals.

ok. i also participated in the dodgeball game. our team menang!!!champion lagi. woohoo!!!

but one thing that i have never ever been lazy to do is..shopping!!! urghhh!!!

this week has been the busiest week since the first day i stepped my foot on UCSI...which is like since last year. last thursday we got to do the so-called rehearsel for the xtvt wif juniors. i'm in charge wif 194, hui yun, amirah, ayunni n poh keay for the what we call as spin and burst game.

i'll tell u bout that later.

hurmm. selepas rehearsel..saye dan peja menunjukkan kepakaran dalam bidang masing2.

peja: handal membuat lay-up dan menshootkan bola masuk ke dalam basket dengan bergaye wif her selamanya 21 cardi.

eg: handal dalam menshootkan bole keluar daripada basket..jangan lupe...dengan bergaye juge.

pastu. pastu sdg kami menunjukkan kepakaran..ade lah org ape ntah kan. foreigners lah. tak tau cakap omputih ataupun bahase kebangsaan iaitu bahasa korea..oops!! bahase melayu rupenye. the only words that they knew and they used to communicate wif us was:

1-ape khabar

2-khabar baik

3-jalan jalan

and the talking goes on and on lyk ape khabar..khabar baik..jalan jalan. ape khabar..khabar baik..jalan jalan. dahle terkeluar topik. ntah ape ntah yg mereka cakapkan. ku tidak faham langsung. xpelah. biarlah mereka dan keluarga mereka.

Friday!! haha. today, i woke up late. luckily..yasmin called. kalau tak..x pegi klas la kot jawabnye. jus now we learned about Eschirichia coli*ignore the spelling* and about bacteria. aaaaaa.....menarik kan? lala

nway..i went out just now!! mid valley!! OMG! i just can't help it. the power of the temptations to go out is just too strong to be defeated. haish. so much for the i-have-to-focus-on-my-priorities-first huh?

yasmin n i pon went to watch hellboy. x best langsung!!! i dun lyk that kind of movie. u noe..the kin of movie that have this weird creatures that just scares me in a way.. haish. the storyline also i cannot understand real well. no. it's not that i can't understand. it's just that i dun want to understand. hish. kesimpulannya..x best la. x payah tgk.

then.. ape lagi..kitorg pegi shopping la!! hey! we r girls. shopping is what we do! i thought of buying slip-ons..tp x jumpe2 pon. in the end, i bought this adorable wedge that exactly looks like syaz's. don't worry syaz! i won't wear it to class. hah. oso..i bought this one flats. yeay! 2 footwears in an hour. :p

pastu..sdg kitorg berjalan2..then adela this clinique promoter dtg. promoting clinique's skin care products la kan. n then..we became their subject of experiment. they put the mask on us..then bubuh ape lagi ntah. toner lah. moisturizer lah. i oso dun understand. haish. but the problem is.. kitorg dipakaikan mask kt tgh2 ruang legar mid valley tuh.. which is the place where they r having their promotions la. all eyes r on us kot. u noe. with the mask on our face kt tgh2 mid valley tuh..sape la tak tgk pelik kan? ish. tp xpe. good experience though.

it is just the same thursday as usual. bangun pagi2. go to class. but today we got to do the physics exp.aaaaa.. about the bandul and the oscillations and stuff. and there's this one thing happened that just can't make me stop laughing. haish. don't ask! nway..biha, u really make my day lah.
the best thing bout thursday is that we got to finish class early. yeay!! then..ape lagi. iz, atiq, fatin, noriah and L and me myself went to watch WANTED. kat mane lagi kalau bkn leisure mall. iz yg drive. after all, that is the only place that she knows pon. haha.

nway..u noe james mc avoy starred in wanted kan. he was sooo cool and not forgetting..he's cute!! haish. nway. it was a good movie. great effects. awesome actors. nice actions. i'll give it an 8 out of 10. ah. tgh kitorg seronok tgk that adorable james mc avoy tgh beraksi..then my dad called. ha. kantoi me!! it's not that he's angry or something. tp adela jugak perasaan bersalah di dlm dadaku. u noe. always goin out. hanging around. leaving my studies at the second place. haish! eg!! wake up! jgn malas2!! i really need to focus on my priorities first rite now!*that includes shopping skali kan?* OMG! help me!
